The theatre group Rangarasadhare presents popular writer Sri Jayanth Kaikini’s Kannada play ‘Sevanthi Prasanga’, which is inspired by the old classics ‘Pygmalion’ & “My Fair Lady’.
The plot in this production revolves around a lead character who is a scholar of phonetics. Named Prof. Bhargav Shastri, he meets a young girl Sevanthi from the streets. He trains, grooms & empower her as a sophisticated & elegant lady presentable at a higher society.
Various characters also adds to the elements of the plot bringing all emotions into light.The Kannada play is backed with essence of nativity accompanied by grooming & soothing live music along with mesmerizing lighting & choreography on the stage, as the play unfolds with regular funny lines to get you burst out in laughter. The play will be staged on February 22, at Seva Sadan, around 6 pm.
