'Coolie' will collect Rs1000 crore, assures Sundeep Kishan as he clarifies his participation in the Rajinikanth starrer

Rajinikanth’s 'Coolie', which is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is one of the most highly anticipated films of 2025. The film has been making waves due to its star-studded cast, generating immense excitement among fans. While there were speculations about Sundeep Kishan being part of the ensemble, he has now clarified that he is not involved in the project. However, what caught everyone’s attention was his reaction to the film after watching a portion of it, leaving fans eager for its release. Social media has been buzzing with reports that Sundeep Kishan recently spoke about Coolie in an interview with Idle Brain. He mentioned that although he is not part of the movie, he visited the film’s set as a close friend of Lokesh Kanagaraj and to witness the legendary aura of Rajinikanth. During this visit, he had the opportunity to watch 45 minutes of the film, and he firmly believes it has the potential to break records. Sharing his excitement, he stated, "I am not part of Coolie; I just came to the sets as Lokesh is my friend & to witness Superstar Rajinikanth. I watched 45 minutes of the film. It will definitely collect ₹1000 crore."
At the Dish TV Watcho Storytellers Conclave, Sundeep Kishan reiterated that he is not associated with 'Coolie' but emphasized his deep friendship with Lokesh Kanagaraj. He explained that while they share important milestones in their lives, they do not frequently discuss professional matters. Sundeep Kishan also reminisced about a cherished moment when Rajinikanth personally invited him for a meeting. He described the experience as surreal, as they discussed his work, and he received the superstar’s blessings, making it an unforgettable encounter.
Additionally, Sundeep Kishan shared an interesting personal philosophy regarding meeting his idols. He revealed that he prefers not to approach them until they recognize his work, citing instances where he refrained from meeting Aziz sir and Shafiq sir until they acknowledged him. However, Rajinikanth was an exception, and their meeting was truly special. Coolie features an ensemble cast, including Rajinikanth, Sathyaraj, Nagarjuna, Pooja Hegde, and Shruti Haasan. Reports also suggest that Aamir Khan might make a cameo. The film is expected to hit theaters in August 2025, raising anticipation among fans worldwide.
