'Shivangi Lioness' OTT release: Find out when and where to watch the Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Anandhi suspense thriller

The suspense thriller 'Shivangi Lioness', starring Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Anandhi, will be making its digital debut soon. Directed by Devaraj Bharani Dharan, the film originally hit theatres on March 7, 2025, and received mixed reviews during its box office run.

The film will be streaming on the Aha Tamil OTT platform from April 18, 2025. Sharing the announcement on X (formerly Twitter) the streaming platform through their official handle wrote, "It's thriller time, guys. #Shivaangithelioness premieres from 18th April on namma @ahatamil."

About the film
The story follows Sathyabhama, played by Anandhi, a software engineer whose life spirals out of control after she becomes a victim of workplace harassment. Her struggles intensify when she is falsely accused of murder. As the investigation carries forward, she recounts the events of a single fateful day to a police officer named Sarika Singh, portrayed by Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.
The storytelling is unique in its reliance on phone calls and off-screen characters. Many key moments are conveyed through conversations and ambient sounds, creating an immersive experience for the audience. Sathyabhama tells her side of the story, and layers of mystery unravel with it, which reveals some surprising truths about the murder charge and gives a glimpse of her struggles.

The film features John Vijay as Monster K and Dr. Koya Kishore in key roles. The film boasts music by A.H. Kaashif and cinematography by Bharani K Dharan.
