NEW DELHI: Star India spinner Ravindra Jadeja maintained his position at the summit, whilst Bangladesh cricketer Mehidy Hasan Miraz advanced in the latest ICC Men's Test Player Rankings for all-rounders, according to the ICC official website.Following his outstanding performance for Bangladesh in their recent Test series against Zimbabwe, Miraz climbed one position to second overall in the latest Test all-rounder rankings, with Jadeja's advantage at the top now reduced to under 100 rating points.Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. Miraz, who accumulated 116 runs and secured 15 wickets across the two Tests, achieved a new career-best rating of 327 points in the updated ICC Men's Test Player Rankings, positioning him within 73 rating points of top-ranked Jadeja.

In Bangladesh's victory in the second Test against Zimbabwe in Chattogram, the 27-year-old played a crucial role by scoring a century at No.7 and securing a five-wicket haul on the final day to guide his team to success.
His performance led to improvements across various categories, including an eight-place advancement to 55th position in the Test batters' list following his second Test century.England's Joe Root retained his leadership in the Test batter rankings, whilst Zimbabwe's experienced left-hander Sean Williams (rising two places to 19th) and Bangladesh opener Shadman Islam (advancing 17 spots to 60th) also progressed after substantial contributions in Chattogram.

Miraz additionally advanced two positions to 24th in the updated Test bowlers' list, alongside his Bangladesh colleagues Taijul Islam (climbing seven positions to 16th) and Nayeem Hasan (moving up six places to 54th) who improved after solid performances against Zimbabwe.India's pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah kept his position as the top-ranked Test bowler, while Zimbabwe spinner Vincent Masekesa entered the rankings for the first time, placing just outside the top 100 after an impressive debut during the Bangladesh Test.
