Union took to Instagram to acknowledge Wade’s performance, praising him for exploring a different creative outlet. “Way to step out of your comfort zone, baby!! So proud of you and our girl @quintab for a legendary night!!!” she captioned a repost featuring images from Wade’s time at SNL.
The couple, who began their relationship in 2009 and married in 2014, have been candid about the highs and lows of their journey together. They share a daughter, Kaavia, born via surrogate in 2018. Union and Wade continue to support each other across professional ventures, often appearing together at high-profile events and celebrating one another’s achievements.
Dwyane Wade retired from professional basketball in 2019 after an accomplished career primarily with the Miami Heat. He also had a brief stint with the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers. A 13-time NBA All-Star and three-time NBA Champion, Wade left a significant mark on the league. Both the Miami Heat and Marquette University, where he played college basketball, have retired his No.3 jersey in his honor.
