29-year-old Canadian ice hockey center and alternate captain for the Colorado Avalanche, Nathan MacKinnon, had a field day on March 4, 2025. MacKinnon very graciously accumulated two assists and two points against the Pittsburgh Penguins thereby adding to his season total score of 93 points and 70 assists. The Avalanche’s offense gave them 25 shots on goal and 5 assists against the Penguins.
An Avalanche fan shared a video of Nathan MacKinnon on their X account where MacKinnon guided a flying puck into the opponent’s net! The fan captioned the X post: “Nathan MacKinnon is a hockey god.” Another X fan reacted to this flying puck being guided into the net by Nathan MacKinnon saying, “He’s the most phenomenal player I’ve ever seen. The way he can manipulate Time and Space 🤯 it’s like watching Dr.Strange play Hockey.”

Sidney Crosby is coming to the Colorado Avalanche, according to Bleacher Report’s Joe Yerdon. He wrote,
“Things are tough in Pittsburgh. We've seen rumors kick up about whether or not Erik Karlsson could be dealt and lots of fans and other media around the league wonder if even captain Sidney Crosby could land with a contender (Colorado to play with Nathan MacKinnon?) if they decided to go for a full rebuild.”So, Sidney Crosby may come to the Avalanche and get a chance to play with the best, Nathan MacKinnon. All this will unravel only before March 7, 2025!
Nathan MacKinnon leads the NHL Leaders list for the 2024-2025 NHL regular season
Out of the total skaters in the NHL, MVP of the 4 Nations Face-Off 2025, Nathan MacKinnon, leads at the top with a total of 93 points. Followed just immediately by Leon Draisaitl, German ice hockey center and alternate captain for the Edmonton Oilers, with 92 points. Then comes Nikita Kucherov, Russian ice hockey right winger and alternate captain for the Tampa Bay Lighting with 90 points. Nikita Kucherov is succeeded by David Pastrnak, a Czech ice hockey right winger and alternate captain for the Boston Bruins with 77 points.
