Connor McDavid’s wife, Lauren Kyle, is full of surprises. For now, this NHL WAG’s focus of interest is her Bar Trove restaurant. Lauren Kyle is menu hunting for her European-inspired Bar. Recently, the NHL WAG took to her Instagram story to share a methodically designed caviar plate full of interesting items to relish! She captioned the IG story, "Testing out our caviar presentation."
The finely decorated caviar plate had all its classic items - chopped hard-boiled eggs (yolks and whites finely separated), blinis (small pancakes), finely chopped red onions, crème fraîche, glossy eggs of the sturgeon fish on a bed of ice, yellow chips, and finely chopped chives. Enough with the slurping and mouth-watering thoughts! Let’s focus on Lauren Kyle for the moment and her restaurant, Bar Trove’s making.



It was on January 7, 2025, that Connor McDavid’s wife, Lauren Kyle, announced her new restaurant’s opening over Instagram. Lauren Kyle captioned the IG post, “New business venture well in the works… coming soon Edmonton 👀.” An Instagram user wrote, “She doesn’t stop!!! Can’t wait 🙌👏” another fan wrote, “she does it alllllllllll!!! making an EDM trip solely for you and this ❤️.”

Two weeks later, on January 21, 2025, Lauren Kyle shared another announcement with her IG followers. She captioned the IG Bar Trove introductory reel, “We’re beyond excited to introduce Trove Living, a curated furniture showroom showcasing the most exclusive designs, alongside Bar Trove, where you’ll indulge in fine wines and expertly crafted cocktails. Opening Spring 2025!” An Instagram user wrote, “The martinis I’m gonna be having here… 😍” another fan wrote, “So pumped!!! 🔥❤️🙌”

Another month later, on February 27, 2025, Connor McDavid’s wife, Lauren Kyle, shared an IG reel of the whole planning process of her upcoming restaurant, Bar Trove. She captioned it, “A subtle hint of what’s to come. 🍸” Being an interior designer for a long time, Lauren Kyle sure knows what looks best where! An IG user wrote, “Stunning 😍 can’t wait” and another fan wrote, “Going to be beautiful ❤️.”

A month later, on March 27, 2025, the design of Bar Trove was almost complete. At least the bartender’s counter was. Lauren Kyle shared images of her restaurant, Bar Trove, showcasing the daytime and nighttime views of the bartender’s counter on Instagram! And the changeover from day to night looked mesmerizing! She captioned the IG post, “Taking you from day to night.” An Instagram user commented, “Those stools are incredible! 😍” another fan wrote, “The lighting truly makes this 🙌🏻.”
According to the Edmonton Journal, the historic Canada Permanent Building in Downtown Edmonton is set to become the new home of Lauren Kyle McDavid's new business venture, Bar Trove and Trove Living. Talking to their reporters, the NHL WAG shared, "I just fell in love with the bones and the architecture, and I loved the kind of European feel to it. It's a different entity, but we really wanted to speak to our own business. Since we're upstairs, it's really meant to be like a holistic building where everything of all my interests comes to life."
