The Getaway mode, a fan-favorite from Chapter 1, is back and playable until April 1. In this mode, players in duos or squads compete to retrieve one of four Crystal Llamas (jewels) scattered across the map.
Victory in Getaway mode can be achieved in two ways: be among the first three teams to successfully extract a Crystal Llama via one of the island's three Getaway Vans, or by eliminating all opposing teams in a more traditional battle royale style.
Furthermore, the update officially introduces Outlaw Midas to Fortnite, who is featured in the revamped Getaway mode. Players will also find multiple new weapons available in the Black Market, and Siphon makes its return within ranked matches.
Shohei Ohtani skins will be available in the shop, with the Shohei Ohtani Cup set for March 15. Meanwhile, Week 4 Battle Royale quests will go live on March 18 and remain available until the season ends. According to Fortnite.com, the expected quests include:
  • Deal 54 damage to opponents using The Kneecapper.
  • Eliminate 3 players from a distance of over 50 meters.
  • Place in the Top 17 in 3 matches.
  • Throw 17 items.
  • Travel 59 units of distance while sliding continuously
