India has expanded its home entertainment portfolio with the introduction of the new Bravia TV range at an event. The company is promoting the new lineup with the tagline “Cinema is Coming Home”. With the latest TV range, the company is aiming to improve how consumers watch movies at home by merging its technology with an improved cinematic experience. At this event, the company also announced popular filmmaker
S.S. Rajamouli as its brand ambassador and claimed that this association will redefine how Indians watch movies at home. The latest range includes the new Bravia 9, 8, 7, and 3 series TVs. However, the company didn’t announce the price and availability of the new Bravia range.

With the new launch, Sony India is offering promotional offers on Bravia televisions and home theatres:

- One free EMI on select range of BRAVIA televisions

- Discount of up to Rs 64,990 on unique combo purchase of select Bravia televisions along with Bravia Theatre soundbar combo
Sony's new Bravia series: Key highlights
These new TV models promise to offer advanced images and audio as it includes a Studio Calibration feature for which the company collaborated with Netflix, Prime Video and Sony Pictures Core to provide the picture quality as intended by their creators. Lastly, these new Bravia models also offer high-quality film experience with cinema-derived technologies such as IMAX Enhanced, Dolby Vision and Atmos.
The flagship Bravia 9 series comes with Backlit MasterDrive technology and high peak luminance, better contrast and natural colours that claim to improve the viewing experience. Paired with the newly launched Bravia Theatre Bar 8, Bravia Theatre Bar 9 and Bravia Theatre Quad, consumers will get an immersive cinematic sound and picture quality, the company claimed.
Moreover, to increase customer brand recognition of Bravia and to help customers better understand Sony products, the company have also introduced marketing names in addition to model names and changed its naming rules.
