The latest episode of Celebrity MasterChef continued redemption week where the third challenge to reach the white Apron was the auction challenge. Celebrities had to auction for their dish and amid the auction, they would lose around 10-30 mins from their allotted cooking time. Usha Tai got Chicken Tikka with a Japanese spice mix Shichimi Togarashi.
Usha Nadkarni got 55 minutes to cook her chicken tikka. As soon as she got the time, she quickly began to marinate her chicken pieces and begins to add other elements to her dish. Chef Ranveer and
Farah Khan come to her table while she begins to put her chicken pieces on the skewer.

Usha Tai refuses, he further added, 'pichli baar ka chicken kaccha reh gaya tha, kyun reh gaya tha?' Tai replies, 'That chicken was thick, this one is boneless.' Chef Ranveer questions, 'Usha Tai, chicken pakega na?' To which Farah replied, "Pakega sir, nahi toh Rajiv aake chicken ke saath baat karega.' Usha Tai then gives slight cuts. The judges say, 'Abhi mereko risk nahi lena hai.'

While they were plating, Chef Ranveer and Kunal helped the celebrities elevate their presentation. Usha Tai and Gaurav take their advice and plate accordingly. As Usha Tai presents her dish, Chef Ranveer asks about the spice and she pronounces it correctly. The judges laud her for going international with her dishes and flavours.
The chicken was perfectly cooked and the sauce that she prepared stole the show. Chef Kunal called it a strong dish and extremely tasty. Chef Ranveer talked about the intricacies while Farah and all the judges lauded her sauce. Both chefs bowed down to Usha Tai for her sauce. She was quite emotional receiving the honour.
