Adani Group's Gautam Adani overtakes Mukesh Ambani on the Bloomberg Billionaire's Index, emerging as India and Asia's wealthiest. Ranked 12th globally, Adani's net worth is $97.6 billion, with recent gains of $7.67 billion and a year-to-date increase of $13.3 billion. Despite setbacks in 2023, the group remains a pivotal player in India's infrastructure and global coal trading. Adani's wealth primarily stems from ownership in six publicly traded group-affiliated companies, including Adani Enterprises, Adani Green Energy, Adani Ports, Adani Power, Adani Transmission, Adani Energy Solutions, and Adani Total Gas.
