Pakistan’s Early Morning Shelling Kills 3 Civilians In J&K, India Responded ‘Proportionately’

In yet another violation of the ceasefire agreement, the Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked and indiscriminate firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in the early hours of Wednesday. Artillery shelling and small arms fire from multiple Pakistani posts led to the tragic deaths of three civilians in Jammu and Kashmir. The Indian Army has confirmed the casualties and stated that it is responding in a proportionate and calibrated manner.
