Belagavi: BJP state president BY Vijayendra alleged that CM
Siddaramaiah conspired to divide Hindus and Muslims in the name of the caste census. He is using the British policy ‘divide and rule' for political gai, he claimed.
Vijayendra was speaking to mediapersons at Sambra Airport on Tuesday. "The same Siddaramaiah tried to divide Veerashaiva Lingayats in the name of a separate religion during his last term as CM, but failed. Now again he is using the caste census to divide, although the state has no powers to conduct the caste census," he said.
All over the country, the Congress has lost its address and is even struggling to sit in the opposition. Because of that, it's trying to lure SCs, STs, and the minorities. "In reality, Siddaramaiah has no concern about the welfare of these communities. In such a case, he would have tabled the caste census report long ago. Congress isn't loyal to these communities and it just wants to use them as a vote bank. The hurry of Siddaramaiah in introducing the caste census report indicates that he will resign from his post at the earliest," Vijayendra said.
Meanwhile, the BJP state president said the Siddaramaiah govt increased the prices of almost 50 products. "People are angry against the govt and if the same continued, they will take up cudgels against the govt. That's why he is misleading the people of the state," he alleged.
