Dhoni, who played a blistering cameo of 26 off just 11 balls, also pulled off a spectacular run out during the match. After the match, LSG skipper Pant couldn't resist asking Dhoni about the jaw-dropping dismissal.
Who's that IPL player?
"Wicket dekha, maar diya, lagi toh theek hai (I just saw the stumps and went for it. It either hits or misses that was the mentality)," Dhoni replied with a grin.

To this, Pant chuckled and said, "Lage hi jaa rahi hai na aapki (Yeah, but they rarely miss)," acknowledging Dhoni's uncanny accuracy.
Pant then quipped, "I was close, so I ran fast. I was worried I'd be run-out!"

The camaraderie between the two keepers and captains was a heartwarming highlight of the evening.
