Belagavi: Kannada & Culture and backward classes welfare minister Shivaraj S Tangadagi said that the works at the Krantiveer Sangolli Rayanna museum (Veerabhoomi) are almost complete and will be inaugurated by the chief minister soon. Speaking to media after inspecting the final stage of work on the Krantiveer Sangolli Rayanna museum in Nandgad on Monday, the minister said that the works, including the Sangolli Rayanna Sainik School and Nandgad museum, were completed at a total cost of Rs 261 crore. The Nandgad museum was built on 13 acres of land at a cost of Rs 59 crore. Necessary works, including the compound, road, and artworks, were completed. Cinema animator electronic technology has been installed. A museum was built for the full introduction of Sangolli Rayanna. The museum will have a Sangolli Rayanna study centre and a library on Rayanna, he said. The minister inspected the Nandgad Museum Veerabhoomi, the museum's main entrance, the vehicle parking system, and the toilet construction works. Later, he inspected the site of the Krantiveer Sangolli Rayanna burial site and the installation of a statue in the Rayanna lake, and received information from the officials about the development of the lake.
