Nashik: The Ambad Industries & Manufacturers' Association (AIMA) signed a significant agreement on Monday between Kaduna Electric, Nigeria's largest power supplier, and Nashik-based Akanksha Power and Infrastructure Ltd.
Amino Abubakar Suleiman, chairman of Kaduna Electric, and a four-member Nigerian delegation signed a five-year maintenance and supply agreement valued at $10-15 million with Akanksha Power. The signing ceremony was attended by Akanksha Power chairman RN Bastia and managing director Bipin Mohapatra.
Additionally, Srinivasan, managing director of Vigyan Labs, signed an
MoU to develop data center infrastructure as part of this collaboration
Kaduna Electric also signed an industrial cooperation agreement with the AIMA. This agreement was signed between AIMA president Lalit Boob and Kaduna Electric chairman Suleiman.
The MoU will help electric equipment manufacturing companies in Nashik to understand the demand for related electric equipment in Nigeria. This will be a significant opportunity for the electrical companies in Nashik.
Suleiman informed that the contract to set up a 5MW solar plant in Nigeria was also given to Nashik-based Akanksha Power and Infrastructure Ltd.
