Bahadurpura Assembly Election Results 2023

In the 2018 assembly elections, Bahdurpura, a vital assembly constituency in the Hyderabad district of Telangana, witnessed a resounding victory for the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) party. Mohd. Moazam Khan, the AIMIM candidate, emerged as the triumphant representative, defeating his rival, Mir Inayath Ali Baqri of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). Election Results (2018): Mohd. Moazam Khan (AIMIM) secured an impressive total of 96,993 votes, which constituted 74.00% of the total votes cast in the constituency. Mir Inayath Ali Baqri (TRS) managed to secure 14,475 votes, equivalent to 11.00% of the votes. This victory saw Mohd. Moazam Khan clinch the Bahdurpura assembly seat with an outstanding margin of 82,518 votes, reaffirming AIMIM's strong presence in the region. In the previous assembly elections in 2014, Khan had also secured the Bahdurpura constituency, and his winning streak continued in 2018. In 2014, Mohd. Moazam Khan garnered a massive 106,874 votes, with a significant margin of 95,045 votes, defeating his closest competitor, Md. Abdul Rahman of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). Going back to the 2009 assembly elections, Mohd. Moazam Khan had emerged victorious with 65,453 votes, maintaining a strong lead over Mir Ahmed Ali of the Communist Party of India (CPI), with a margin of 56,735 votes. The consistent success of AIMIM candidates in Bahdurpura has established the party as a formidable political force in the region. It's important to note that Bahdurpura is an integral assembly constituency falling within the Hyderabad district of Telangana. Bahdurpura remains a stronghold for AIMIM, underscoring the party's continued influence and political significance in the region.
