Aamir Khan made headlines by introducing his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt, on his 60th birthday eve. He requested privacy for her and revealed they had been friends for 25 years.
The superstar shared that Gauri Spratt isn’t a big Bollywood fan and hasn’t watched many of his films. They first met 25 years ago but lost touch before reconnecting years later. Aamir said he fell for her because she brings him peace and a sense of calm.
He said, “I was looking for someone I can be calm with, who gives me peace. And there she was.”

Aamir and Gauri have been together for 18 months, with many rumors about their relationship. Gauri, a mother of a six-year-old, admired Aamir’s caring nature and fell for him. She shared that she wanted someone kind and caring, to which Aamir jokingly responded, “And after all that, you found me?”

Gauri isn’t very interested in Bollywood and hasn’t seen much of Aamir’s work. Aamir shared that she grew up in Bangalore and was exposed to different kinds of films and arts. Unlike most people, she doesn’t view him as a superstar but simply as her partner.

Gauri, originally from Bangalore, is the daughter of Rita Spratt, who ran a salon in the city. As per her LinkedIn profile, she has been a partner and director at B Blunt since 2007. She studied at Blue Mountain School and earned a degree in FDA Styling and Photography from the University of Arts London.
