In this new video, Apoorva announced her intention to donate all proceeds to an NGO dedicated to supporting survivors of acid attacks, rape, and domestic violence. Her gesture has earned her recognition and appreciation from prominent figures like Laxmi Agarwal, a well-known advocate for acid attack survivors.
Laxmi Agarwal's Response
Laxmi took to Instagram to express her appreciation for Mukhija's recent initiative. The Laxmi Foundation salutes her strength and kindness. We urge everyone to join hands in rebuilding the lives of these incredible individuals. Together, we can make a difference!"

Apoorva's Return to Social Media
On April 8, Apoorva returned to Instagram by sharing a post that revealed the numerous threats she faced after her appearance on 'India's Got Latent'. Subsequently, she released a video titled 'Till I Say It Is', where she issued an apology for her comments and candidly discussed the hardships she and her family experienced in the aftermath of the controversy.
Apoorva's Video Message
In the clip, she said, "I want to donate all of the earnings from this video, through my AdSense, to an NGO that helps acid attack victims, rape victims and victims of domestic violence. I was very scared of getting raped. I was very scared of having an acid attack. These are causes I truly care about."
Background of the Controversy
During an episode of Samay Raina's India's Got Latent, panellists Ranveer Allahbadia, Apoorva, and Ashish Chanchlani sparked controversy. Ranveer's comment about parents causes widespread outrage on social media, while Apoorva was also accused of making an objectionable remark. The backlash resulted in multiple FIRs being filed against Apoorva, Ranveer, Samay, and the show's producers. As the controversy unfolded, Apoorva temporarily stepped away from social media.
