She said, “I knew that my character had nothing much to do in the film. When I first heard the script, what I understood was a vague idea, my character entering a jeep, and something else.” She further said that when she asked for the movie’s script, they denied it by saying that it was not in full form. Knowing that her character had nothing much to contribute to the movie, she said a firm ‘No’ to the makers.
Nikhila Vimal further shared how disappointed the director
Vishnu Mohan was after hearing that she rejected the role. Later the same role went to actress
Anju Kurian, who played it flawlessly.
Meanwhile, Nikhila Vimal teamed up with Vishnu Mohan for his second directorial venture ‘Kadha Innuvare’ which is a feel-good drama movie that also features the actors Biju Menon, Methil Devika, Siddique, Anusree and many more in pivotal roles.
On the other hand, Nikhila Vimal’s previous outing was with the Basil Joseph starrer ‘Nunakkuzhi’ which turned out to be a hit. Nikhila was also seen in the Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer comedy entertainer film ‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil’.
