The brothers are back

In 2011, they won the hearts of the Odia audience by playing brothers in the hit movie, '143 I Love You'. Now, the dashing duo, Siddhant Mohapatra and Babusaan is gearing up for another brotherly act.
This time around, they will star as brothers in director Dilip Panda’s upcoming movie, Hari Shankar. While they played the roles of two mechanics in the last film, in this movie they’ll be seen playing cops named Hari and Shankar.The family drama will witness the return of another on-screen pair, Siddhant and Namrata Thapa. Incidentally, their first ever pairing also happened in 143 I Love You. However, while selecting the actress opposite Babussan, the director has played safe and cast Riya Dey. Riya has already acted opposite him in numerous hit films like Sanju Aau Sanjana, Prema Adhei Akshyara, Idiot, Love Master. So their popularity as a jodi is already well established.
The cast includes other big names from Ollywood like, Samaresh Routray (playing Ali Khan), Rai Mohan, Pintu Nanda, Minaketan, Prithviraj and Salil Mitra. Actress Megha Ghosh has been roped in to do an item number in the movie. The songs, which are being composed by Abhijit Majumder, will be shot outside Odisha. When TOI spoke to director Dilip Panda, he sounded very positive about the film. “Unlike other industries, in Ollywood, the directors don’t usually make multi-starrer films. So, I hope this film, which stars so many big actors, will be appreciated by the Odia audience,” he said. The film is scheduled to go on the floors from March 15.
