Suresh Sangaiah, who has assisted Kaaka Muttai director Manikandan since his short film days, is making his directorial debut with Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu, a tale that unfolds from the point of view of a goat! Vitharth plays the male lead while leading dubbing artiste Raveena makes her acting debut and has been cast as the female lead. They play a married couple.
Suresh says, The plot revolves around the ritual of offering goats to Gods and present things from the point of view of a goat. But Im not giving out any message through this film. There are 40-45 characters whose lives are related one way or the other with this goat. So, everyone will be able to relate to the film. Raghuram, a newcomer, is the composer of the film, while RV Saran, who has done the cinematography of Vizhithiru, handles the camera. The team is shooting the film in and around Aruppukottai and Rajapalayam (where the director hails from). Suresh says that they have shot for around 20 days and are planning to finish the film in a 40-day single schedule.
