A recent screening of
Ajith Kumar's 'Good Bad Ugly' in Kerala turned chaotic after an alleged fan war broke out between supporters of Ajith and
Thalapathy Vijay. The incident, captured in several viral videos, shows members of
Vijay's fan group attempting to disrupt the screening, leading to a physical dispute with Ajith's fans.
Screening halted midway
As per a Pinkvilla report, the tension escalated quickly, causing a disturbance within the theater. The show was paused mid-screening as the situation went out of control, leaving the rest of the audience upset and frustrated.
Ajith Kumar has previously addressed these fan wars, urging his fans to be kind and respectful towards his peers in the industry. He shared that he would be happy if his fans focused on their well-being and treated others with kindness, rather than engaging in conflicts.
Interestingly, 'Good Bad Ugly' includes a dialogue where Ajith says, "I am waiting," which fans quickly linked to a similar phrase used by Vijay in his iconic film 'Thuppakki.' This led to a mixed reaction among fans, with some appreciating the reference and others viewing it as a provocation.
Meanwhile, Thalapathy Vijay is currently busy with his film 'Jana Nayagan,' after which he plans to fully focus on politics.
