NEW DELHI: Lucknow will play host to India's top sports champions at the Times of India Sports Awards (TOISA) on February 22, 2025.
There are over 175 nominees across 36 regular sports and 12 para-sports categories. Categories include Kabaddi, Kho Kho, Hockey, Athletics, and Cricket, to name a few.

The TOISA 2024 Jury comprises of former long-jumper and senior vice-president of AFI, Anju Bobby George; Olympic medal-winning wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt; Former captain of the Indian hockey team, Dilip Tirkey; Paralympic medalist Javelin thrower Devendra Jhajharia; Olympic medallist and boxing champion Vijendar Singh.
By honouring the accolades of national sports icons, TOISA aims to celebrate the past and nurture the future of sports in India. TOISA 2025 hopes to provide a stepping stone for aspiring stars to chase their dreams on the global stage.

The Times of India Sports Awards (TOISA) 2023, held in Lucknow on February 23, celebrated the exceptional achievements of Indian athletes across various disciplines. The event honored seasoned champions and emerging talents, highlighting India's diverse sporting excellence.
Major Honorees:- Sportsperson of the Year: Neeraj Chopra, for his outstanding performances in men's javelin throw.
- Para Sportspersons of the Year: Sheetal Devi and Sumit Antil, recognized for their remarkable contributions to para sports.
- Coach of the Year: Deepali Deshpande, acknowledged for her exceptional guidance in shooting.
- Team of the Year: The men's 4x400m relay team, comprising Amoj Jacob, Mijo Chacko, Mohammad Anas, Mohammad Ajmal, Nihal Joel, and Rajesh Ramesh.
- Lifetime Achievement Award: PT Usha, honoured for her legendary career in track and field.
The event also recognized federations, corporate supporters, and emerging athletes, underscoring the collaborative efforts driving India's sports ecosystem.
