Prince William has joked about wanting red hair during a recent visit to a Football Association (FA) event. The Prince of Wales, known for often joking about his thinning hair, shared a lighthearted moment with people that made them laugh, which was later shared on social media. In a post shared on social media platform X (earlier Twitter), Prince William can be seen drawn to a woman's bright red hair during his visit. He complimented her hair, expressed his wish for similar hair, and then acknowledged the unlikelihood of that happening.

In the video, Prince William can be seen saying: “Look at your hair! It's fantastic. Wish I had hair like that. I know, I've not a chance," he added with a laugh.”
The visit occurred while Prince William was in an event in West Midlands, England, in which Prince William who supports as a patron, held a referee training course at Sporting Khalsa FC in Willenhall to recruit 1,000 referees from Black, Asian, and mixed heritage backgrounds. Students and locals also came to greet Prince William during the visit. Social media users lauded Prince William's sense of humor.

How users reacted to Prince William's Red Hair joke

"I love how William is so at ease with his own skin that he can joke about his hair and no awkwardness there." one user commented on X

Another user wrote: “Love this man. You can just feel his warmth through the screen."

This wasn't the first time Prince William had made a self-deprecating remark about his hair. In 2020, while launching his environmental award, the Earthshot Prize, he joked, "I started this initiative about two years ago. Now, although it's been about four years in the making, I 'had hair' when it started."
Similarly, in 2017 at a homeless charity-run cafe, he quipped with hairstylist Taz Kabria, "I don't have much hair, I can't give you much business."
