Ellen Pompeo is singing Taylor Swift's praises! While making an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show on April 2, the Grey's Anatomy actress, 55, praised the pop icon for being kind and shared how her appearance in Swift's Bad Blood music video got her some big "cool points" from her children.

Host Jennifer Hudson opened the discussion by referencing Pompeo's guest appearance in Swift's 2014 music video for Bad Blood, asking, "Ten years ago, you were in a Taylor Swift video?"
Pompeo smiled and confirmed, "I was." She said she had all but forgotten but agreed that the appearance made her a hero at home.
"Getting that kind of attention and recognition really scored so much points with both of the girls for a while," Pompeo said, naming her daughters Stella, 15, and Sienna, 10, and her 8-year-old son Eli, who she has with her husband, music producer Chris Ivery.
She also commented on how the email was received, stating that she and Swift were not friends then, but the singer invited her anyway. "Taylor is such a good girl, and I didn't know her, and she asked me to be in the video, and I thought, 'Oh, that would be fun.'"
