Exclusive - Rajat Verma on Jamuniya abruptly coming to an end; says:'We never expected Jamuniya to end so soon'
Actor Rajat Verma, whose show Jamuniya is coming to an end, says that the show’s abrupt termination has shown him how unpredictable the industry can be. He adds that he never expected the show to end so soon.
“I have understood the unpredictable nature of this industry. This experience gave me more clarity about how uncertain things can be. We never expected the show to end so soon, especially because we were working with one of the biggest production houses in the TV industry. So when it actually happened, it was a big realization for me. It showed me how anything can happen here at any time, and that has made me stronger and more prepared for such moments in the future. That’s something I’ve definitely learned from this experience,?he says.
Ask him if he would like to give any special message to his fans who saw the show, and he says, “To all the people who watched and supported our show thank you from the bottom of my heart. Our show carried a very important message: never judge or discriminate against anyone based on their skin colour, appearance, or body shape. What truly matters is a person’s inner beauty their talent, their heart, and their goodness.
If even a few people have understood and accepted this message during the short time the show aired, then I believe we’ve succeeded in what we set out to do. To all my fans who were with me from the beginning, and to those who supported this show thank you so much for the love you gave us, even in this short journey. Your views, your comments, your feedback on YouTube and other platforms we saw everything, and it meant a lot to all of us. Though the show didn’t get the kind of popularity or reach we had hoped for, and the decision to end it came sooner than expected it’s still been a very special and emotional journey. I’m really sad that it had to end, but I’m also very grateful for all the love and support we received. Please continue spreading kindness, stop judging people based on looks, and always focus on the heart and soul of a person. That’s what truly matters.?br/>As for future plans, he says, “It’s been almost one and a half to two years since I’ve gone home. I’ve been working non-stop all this while. So now, after this, I’m finally planning to go to Delhi to visit my parents. I’ll also meet all my relatives it’s been a long time, and I haven’t really had the time to catch up with anyone properly. I’m also really craving a trip to the mountains. So after meeting everyone, I’ll take about 10 to 12 days off to relax and travel. I want to give myself a proper break, enjoy nature, and just reset. After that, I’ll come back to Mumbai and start focusing on myself again ?sharpening my skills and getting back into the flow of acting. I’ve always wanted to learn dance seriously, so now I think I’ll finally get a chance to do that too. Let’s see how much time I get, but I really want to work on myself and keep improving.?br/>
