Comedian Samay Raina’s YouTube show India’s Got Latent garnered significant attention before its episodes were removed following controversies involving guest comments of Apoorva Mukhija and Ranveer Allahbadia. Among the unreleased episodes is one featuring cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and comedian Purav Jha. While fans were quite excited for this, the show has been discontinued for now.
In a recent interview, Purav Jha shared insights into the filming experience with Yuzvendra Chahal. He described Chahal as “full of fun” and likened their camaraderie to that of school friends, noting, “We were like backbenchers. He is very cool.” He also recounted how Samay Raina humorously teased Chahal during the episode, stating, “We got saved, but Yuzi bhai ki toh band bajaayi thi Samay bhai ne badhiya.” Despite the enjoyable experience, Purav expressed uncertainty about the episode’s release due to the surrounding controversies.
The unreleased episodes of India’s Got Latent also featured personalities like Farah Khan, Munawar Faruqui, Mallika Sherawat, Ahsaas Channa, Bhuvan Bam, Dalip Tahil, Ashish Vidyarthi, Rahul Dua, and Vishal Dadlani. While fans eagerly await the potential release of these episodes, the show’s future remains uncertain amidst the ongoing discussions.

The controversy surrounding India’s Got Latent erupted in February 2025 when guest panelist Ranveer Allahbadia, known as BeerBiceps, posed an explicit hypothetical question to a contestant during an episode. The remark, perceived as obscene and offensive, sparked widespread public outrage. Subsequently, multiple police complaints were filed against Allahbadia, host Samay Raina, and other participants, leading to legal actions and summonses. In response to the backlash, Raina removed all episodes of the show from his YouTube channel and expressed his intent to cooperate fully with authorities.
