She elaborated on her efforts to ensure the series deviated from the conventions of typical reality television offerings.

She was also asked why the show was filmed in a rental home instead of allowing viewers to visit Meghan, Harry, and their two kids, Archie, age five, and Lilibet, age three, at their Montecito estate. Meghan underlined her conscious decision to protect her young children from undue publicity. "Eighty people in the kitchen isn't really the childhood memory I'd like them to have," she explained, highlighting her priority of maintaining a private and normal environment for her children.
The Duchess of Sussex talked about her television project and the difficulties of running several important projects at once, such as the show, her new podcast, and the line of products from her rebranded business, ‘As Ever.’ She highlighted the value of self-love during such a trying time and knew that she had made some mistakes along the way.
"There were three projects that we were launching really at the same time," she shared with the crowd. She then continued, "The past year-and-a-half has been incredibly busy and ambitious. Then you see it all come to life and try to give yourself the space and the grace to make mistakes, to know you're not doing it right every day."
