WWE is all set to start a brand-new chapter in India as it joins hands with a leading OTT platform in India to stream its shows. Starting from 1 April 2025, fans in India will be able to watch their favourite WWE content on Netflix, thanks to a massive $5 billion global deal between the two giants.
This partnership means all major WWE shows, including 'Raw', 'SmackDown', 'NXT' and top Premium Live Events like 'WrestleMania', 'SummerSlam', 'Royal Rumble' and 'Money in the Bank', will now be available on the popular streaming platform. The shows will also come with Hindi commentary, making them more enjoyable and easier to follow for Indian viewers.

Triple H makes a big announcement
WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Paul 'Triple H' Levesque, shared the exciting news through a video message on YouTube. He said, "Beginning April 1, 2025, Netflix will become the exclusive new home for WWE in India."
This announcement created a buzz among Indian WWE fans, many of whom have grown up watching wrestling on TV. But now, a new digital era is starting, with WWE entering millions of homes via OTT.
What fans can expect
According to WWE's official press release, fans in India will be able to enjoy WWE shows both live and on-demand. That means you can catch your favourite superstars in action as it happens or watch it later at your convenience. "Through this partnership, WWE fans in India will have seamless and immersive access to all WWE programming," the press release stated.
In addition to live shows, fans will also be able to dive into WWE’s archives. From classic matches to behind-the-scenes footage, there will be something for every type of wrestling lover. This is the first time so much WWE content will be made easily available in India.
It’s worth noting that WWE has always enjoyed strong popularity in India, with events like 'WWE Superstar Spectacle' created especially for Indian audiences. With this new digital partnership, WWE is focused on making the Indian fan experience even better. One of the biggest perks of this deal is the availability of WWE content with Hindi commentary. This will help bring in even more viewers, including younger fans and families who prefer watching in their native language.
