Inderwal Assembly Election Results 2024

Inderwal is an assembly constituency in Jammu And Kashmir. The voting for Inderwal constituency will take place on September 18, 2024. Tariq Keen has filed his nomination as a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for the Srigufwara-Bijbehara Assembly Constituency. Meanwhile, sir Hussain Sheikh filed nomination as a Peoples’ Democratic Party candidate from the Inderwal constituency. Sheikh Zafarullah filed his nomination for Indian National Congress from the Inderwal constituency. The polls in Jammu and Kashmir will be conducted in three phases. The first phase is set for September 18, the second on September 25, and the final phase on October 1. The counting of votes will take place on October 8. These assembly elections are being held after a decade and for the first time after abrogation of Article 370 of Constitution and the subsequent recognition of J&K as a Union territory. In 2014, this constituency was won by the Indian National Congress. Inderwal comes under Kishtwar district of Jammu And Kashmir State. In 2014, Ghulam Mohd Saroori of the Indian National Congress won the seat by defeating Tariq Hussain Keen of the Bharatiya Janta Party with a margin of 12370 votes.
