As the vibrant festival of
Baisakhi is here and marks the onset of the harvest season and new beginnings, TV star Akanksha Chamola shared heartfelt memories related to this festival. She recalled how she celebrates it every year with her husband Gaurav Khanna and even mentioned that she started to celebrate it after she got married.
Akanksha Chamola, who essays the role of Manvi, reflected on how Baisakhi became a cherished tradition in her life after marriage. She shared “Baisakhi is a festival that marks the arrival of the harvest season, and I’ve celebrated it since I got married to my husband Gaurav. It was definitely something new for me, but it’s been an amazing experience being a part of the customs.”
She further said, “My husband and I visit the Gurudwara in the morning for Langar Sewa—a chance to give back to the community and soak in the festive atmosphere. That’s not it, we used to host a family kirtan with my in-laws at our house, followed by a delicious meal that included Punjabi Kadhi Pakoda, Rice, and Dal Makhani, among others. It’s a joyful time that represents new beginnings. Happy Baisakhi to everyone!”
